Public Notice – Local Law No. 5 of 2024 Adopted by Tyre Town Board
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Tyre approved Local Law No. 5 of 2024 on November 6, 2024, which amended the Zoning Law of the Town of Tyre to do the following:
- Repeal the existing definition of “Setback” and adopt a new definition of “Setback”.
- Repeal the requirement that the Board of Appeals shall refer applications for variance requests to the Planning Board for review and comments.
- Amend Appendix A: Bulk and Use Tables to replace all instances of “Center Line” with “street line” and to amend the setback regulation pertaining to lot boundaries along a street in all zoning districts.
