Notice of Public Hearing for LOCAL LAW NO. 5 OF 2025 TO ESTABLISH THE RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE APPOINTED OFFICE OF DEPUTY TOWN CLERK

Please take notice that a proposed Local Law is under consideration by the Town Board of the Town of Tyre, New York, designated as Local Law No. 5 of 2025 “to Establish the Residency Requirements for the Appointed Office of Deputy Town Clerk,” and its purpose, generally, is to expand the residency eligibility for the role of Deputy Town Clerk in order to find and retain qualified individuals.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that said proposed Local Law is on file at the Tyre Town Clerk’s Office located at the Tyre Municipal Building, 1082 Gravel Road, Seneca Falls, NY 13148, where it is available for public inspection during regular business hours.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a public hearing upon said proposed Local Law has been scheduled for the 25th day of June, 2025, at 6:30 PM, to be held at the Tyre Municipal Building, 1082 Gravel Road, Seneca Falls, NY 13148. An opportunity to be heard in regard thereto will then and there be given to members of the public.  Written comments may also be directed to the Tyre Town Clerk, at the Tyre Municipal Building, 1082 Gravel Road, Seneca Falls, NY 13148
