Public Notice – Public Hearing by Tyre Town Board October 23, 2024 6:30 PM

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that a public hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Tyre on October 23, 2024, at 6:30 p.m., at the Tyre Town Hall, 1082 Gravel Road, Seneca Falls, New York, regarding the adoption of a Local Law of the Town of Tyre for the year 2024, which would amend the Zoning Law of the Town of Tyre to do the following:
- Repeal the existing definition of “Setback” and adopt a new definition of “Setback”.
- Repeal the requirement that the Board of Appeals shall refer applications for variance requests to the Planning Board for review and comments.
- Amend Appendix A: Bulk and Use Tables to replace all instances of “Center Line” with “street line”.
Any person shall be entitled to be heard upon said proposed Local Law at such public hearing. Copies of said proposed Local Law are available for public review at the Town of Tyre Town Hall, 1082 Gravel Road, Seneca Falls, New York.
