Public Notice – Special ZBA Meeting August 20, 2025 6:00 PM

The Tyre Town Zoning Board of Appeals will meet on August 20, 2025 at 6:00 pm at the Tyre Municipal Building, 1082 Gravel Road, Seneca Falls, NY 13148. This meeting will be held to discuss the application for a digital billboard sign submitted by Kirk Wright (applicant) of Sign and Lighting Services for the installation of a digital billboard for commercial advertising. The billboard will be two sided displaying static images, intermittently changing. Zoning Code: 100.81 D1 states: In all zoning districts, signs and flashing signs are prohibited. Zoning Code 100-81.6 states: All signs shall conform to the minimum yards requirements of the district in which they are located. Signs must be 80 feet from state road right-of-way. The sign will be 46 feet from the state right of way and will be installed on State Route 414 in the strip of land bordered by the Tyre Fire Department building to the east and State Route 414 on the west, and owned by Cole Fletcher of Junius, NY.
