Public Notice – Town of Tyre Transitions to Official .GOV Domain

The Town of Tyre is pleased to announce that its official website has moved to the .gov domain, effective immediately. The new web address is www.tyreny.gov. Visitors to the former site, www.tyreny.com, will be automatically redirected to the new site.

In addition to the website transition, the Town has updated its email communications to the .gov domain. Emails sent to the old @tyreny.com addresses will automatically redirect to the new @tyreny.gov inboxes for a limited time.

This transition is in line with recommendations from the federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), encouraging local governments to adopt .gov domains. Only verified government organizations can register and use .gov domains, helping the public easily identify the website as a trusted government resource.
